I’m excited to share my recent conversation with Kevin Callison, a passionate supporter of local businesses and pillar of the Henry County community. Kevin joined me on the “I’m Local” podcast to discuss his journey into financial services, his mission to provide clients with financial peace of mind, and the many ways he gives back to the community.
Kevin has lived in Henry County since 1995 and has seen the area transform over the years. He shared how a difficult family health situation caused him to leave his retail management career and take a chance on becoming an agent with Modern Woodmen, a financial services company. Kevin found his passion helping clients secure their financial futures and ensure their families are taken care of.
A big part of Kevin’s business is providing life insurance, which he sees as the foundation of a solid financial plan. He explains how life insurance brings “peace of mind to a family, knowing that if something unfortunate happens, the family is taken care of.”
Giving back is also extremely important to Kevin. Through Modern Woodmen’s 501(c)8 nonprofit status, Kevin supports incredible local organizations like Our World School, Nicholas and Friends, Operation Lunchbox, and more. He serves on boards, volunteers his time, and connects people and resources, believing an engaged community allows him to better serve his clients.
Kevin’s selfless commitment to Henry County is inspiring. As he put it, “What you’re doing with My Local Henry, if there are folks out there, get involved with Lincoln… We need to hear more live from folks that are services and resources in the county.”
I’m proud to call Kevin a community partner and encourage you to connect with him to discuss your financial future and community engagement. He can be reached through Modern Woodmen’s website or at 678-371-6396.
Let’s continue supporting each other and making Henry County a vibrant, caring community!
